ART CIRCLE BUDDY BEAR in Ljubljana 2015/2016

In the garden of the German Embassy in Ljubljana stands a two-meter figure of a bear that belongs to the family of Buddy Bears. Its members can be found all across the globe and of course represent the capital Berlin, as the animal in question can be seen in the capital’s coat of arms.
Selected German and Slovenian artists, academy trained painters and contemporary visual artists painted the famous German bear – Buddy Bear – within the international Art Circle project.
