28. 9. 2020  – 31. 3. 2021

An exhibition dedicated the beginnings of MMMART, which at the time began to bring together to Brda artists from all over the world, winemakers, tourist operators and representatives from several embassies in Slovenia. In 1997, Aleks Klinec began to paint the incredible MMM ART story with the Cultural Association KUD OPOKA.
The exhibition on Art Circle, the international visual arts festival, which, since its beginnings in 1997, has brought together for a week, on the entire Brda region and a portion of the Vipava Valley, artists from all over the world, winemakers, tourist operators and representatives of several embassies in Slovenia. In each painting we shall find the stories of the artists and the participating providers, who created a web of social connections with their personal stories.

We opened 4 exhibitions within the European Heritage Days and the Cultural Heritage Week 2020.

MMMART STORY 1,2,3 (Alma House in Medana, Memorial House of Alojz Gradnik and Ludvik Zorzut, Medana and the Dobrovo Castle Pavilion) and the ART CIRCLE STORY in the Vipolže Villa.

You are invited to the grand opening of the exhibition dedicated to the beginnings of MMMART, which in 1997 began to bring together to Brda artists from all over the world, winemakers, tourist operators and representatives from several embassies in Slovenia. The Brda local, Aleks Klinec began to paint this incredible story with the Cultural Association KUD OPOKA. The artworks will be displayed on three locations: the Dobrovo Pavilion, Alma house and the cellar of the Memorial House of Alojz Gradnik and Ludvik Zorzut in Medana until 31.03.2021.

At the Vipolže Villa you can admire the artworks created within the ART CIRCLE since its beginnings up to last year. The exhibition on Art Circle, the international visual arts festival, which, since its beginnings in 1997, has brought together for a week, on the entire Brda region and a portion of the Vipava Valley, artists from all over the world, winemakers, tourist operators and representatives of several embassies in Slovenia.

All 4 exhibitions featuring artworks created by different artists testify that the MMMART and ARTCIRCLE stories merge with wine and poetry, the locals’ welcoming nature and the artists’ enthusiasm, as well as the enthusiasm felt by the visitors who come to Brda. Stories have been written and now we are going to listen to the MMMART and ART CIRCLE pictures. In each painting we shall find the stories of the artists and the participating providers, who created a web of social connections with their personal stories.
