“The artist residencies at the beautiful VINA Bric homestead offer Mexican artists a unique and inspiring environment in which to nurture their creativity and encourage artistic exploration. In addition, they are able to connect with other artists and form new working relationships that often lead to friendships. This cultural exchange is made possible by ART CIRCLE and all the wineries and local people who participate in this festival. When art and wine intersect in such a way as they do in the Art Embassies project, they create a dynamic synergy that enhances cultural diplomacy and fosters cross-cultural collaborations. This is cultural diplomacy in its purest form and for this, I would like to thank the ART CIRCLE team and all the collaborators, the inhabitants of the Goriška Brda and Vipava Valley region, our Mexican artists and, last but not least, hosts – VINA Bric for their continuous and kind hospitality towards our artists.”
